Inner Voice: How AO Scan Helps You Balance Your Emotions

Speak into a scanner for ten seconds, and it reads the emotions hiding in your voice — then hands you music made to bring you back into balance.

I started using AO Scan technology by Solex in 2022, not realizing it would become a tool I deeply trust — a quiet support system that carried me through one of the hardest chapters of my life. I first met it at an energy healing conference in Utah. The pitch was simple: speak into the scanner for ten seconds, and it generates a report on your emotional health, showing how your body systems are affected in real time. You can't fake it, either — the software reads your voice much like a lie detector.

I was skeptical. But it delivered. After more than a decade in health and wellness, I'm always open to tools that unlock a deeper layer of healing — and this one kept surprising me.

My curiosity about sound goes back further. In 2016, for my Foot Zone certification project, I researched a question that had followed me through fifteen years of teaching piano: does music heal? What I found blew my mind. Sound and vibration weren't just soothing — researchers have even isolated specific low-frequency vibrations that trigger cell death in certain cancer cells in the lab (study here). Frequency, it turns out, is far more powerful than we give it credit for.

How Inner Voice technology works

Inner Voice starts with a quick, ten-second recording of your voice. It isn't just a recording — it's an analysis of the emotional and energetic imbalances woven into your tone. The emotions we suppress or ignore subtly shape the frequency of our voice, and Inner Voice reads those cues, identifying which emotions may be overstimulating or dampening your natural balance.

From there, it generates a set of custom music frequencies made just for you — personalized tones designed to harmonize your emotional state and guide your body and mind back toward balance.

The science of sound and brain waves

Sound healing is old, but the science behind it is current. Research shows sound waves can influence brain waves, shifting how we feel and function. Binaural beats — two slightly different tones, one in each ear — can nudge the brain toward relaxation, focus, or deep meditative states.

Your brain moves through several wave states, each tied to a level of consciousness and healing:

Inner Voice taps into this by creating harmonics that align with specific brainwave states, gently encouraging the nervous system toward calm and balance.

Custom frequencies and your nervous system

The frequencies Inner Voice generates aren't random. They're tuned to the excesses and weaknesses in your unique voice spectrum. If your nervous system is overstimulated, the tones help calm it; if it's underactive, they help energize it — always guiding you back toward a regulated state.

Listening is like giving your nervous system a tune-up. Over time, and with consistency, these balancing harmonics help train your body to meet stress with more ease and resilience.

What people notice

People who use Inner Voice often describe feeling calmer, clearer, and more grounded. The most common shifts:

The link between emotions and sound

When we speak or sing, we create a kind of music — notes and chords that carry aspects of our personality, much of it rooted in the subconscious. Bruce Lipton, a pioneer in the science of belief, notes that the subconscious mind runs about 95% of our daily life. So much of what our voice communicates isn't what we consciously intend — it's colored by beliefs and emotions we may not even be aware of.

Think of a film score: the music quietly shapes whether you feel hope, fear, or tenderness. Our voices do the same to the people around us. Inner Voice reads that hidden layer, detects the imbalance, and offers custom frequencies to help bring us back to a more authentic, balanced expression of ourselves.

Just as a soundtrack shapes a story, the right frequencies can reshape how you feel.

What clients are saying

"Running daily Inner Voice scans changed my sleep game. I ran them nightly for 30 days and listened to the tones for ten minutes — my sleep tracker showed improved REM and better quality. Anytime I need to down-regulate, I reach for my AO Scan."— Alaina P.
"My non-verbal son has huge meltdowns, and I suspect a lot of it is not being able to communicate. These scans give him calming music and show me — through the report — what he's experiencing. So helpful!"— Sonja L.
"I started using Inner Voice for my teenage daughter's school stress. She listens to the tones every night before bed, and it's made such a difference in her mood and anxiety. She's sleeping better and feels more grounded."— Michelle K.
